Russian Roulette - the Insane Game

Russian roulette is not like any other 'normal' roulette gambling. Yes, in Russian roulette, there is still the element of risking, but it is risking WAY beyond what you are trying to bargain for. That is because you are putting at stake no other than - your life.

Russian roulette is a rash and dangerous act of bravery usually done to get attention. Russian roulette is a stunt that not even a sane professional would do. Just look at the way Russian roulette is performed. The gambler loads a revolver gun with only one bullet, spins the cylinder, and aims the gun at his head and pulls the trigger. This suicidal game of chance is THAT insane. If you do math on this, there will be a 1/6 chance of dying (as most revolvers have six chambers). And as if things couldn't get any wilder, a stranger version of Russian roulette has emerged - the Blom et al and Blom version.

In the modified form, two duelists load their revolver with one bullet, and each fire at each other alternatingly (until one of them falls dead). In this form, mathematicians collect that there is a 6/11 chance that the FIRST duelist will lose the game and get killed. This is probably what happened to the fatal shooting of an 18-year-old teenager at Winterhaven. Officials did find out that the teen shot himself to death, BUT there were reportedly two onlookers to the shooting. Without doubt, a reckless game of Russian roulette duel. Sadly, this incidence still fails to call caution as with the acceptance of the game.

Over at Japan, a weird game gadget-toy emerged based on the concept of Russian roulette. A kid points his 'kaba kick' gun at his head, pulls the trigger, and the feet of a pink hippo kicks out. Funny? This is a very alarming version of Russian roulette aimed at very young patrons.

Another insane version of the game is found in the field of magic. In the trick created by Alan Rorrison, the magician, instead of a gun, uses a prop of three styrofoam cups and a very big and sharp standing nail. While the magician's back is turned, a spectator chooses any of the three cups to put over and cover the nail, and mixes up the cups so that the magician could not in anyway guess where the dangerous nail is. The magician then turns around and dramatically smashes each of the cups with his bare hand. If he chooses and leaves out the correct cup with the nail, he ends up safe, un-scarred, and powerful. The effect is as prevailing for the grand magician as it is exciting for the spectators.

Only one word describes Russian roulette - THRILLING. If you are into these kinds of gamble, it is up to you. IF you should dare.
